This service is charged per word of the original.
Translation, adaptation, and adjustment of texts from one language to another, considering a series of factors, such as social, cultural, political and, especially, linguistic aspects. Adaptation of the content to the target culture, respecting the factors listed above. This service is charged per word of the original or per hour.
Conversion of spoken language, by means of audio or video, into text. Chino Traduções offers high-quality audio and video transcription services, allowing you to convert your audio or video recordings to text and use those transcriptions to suit your needs. This service is charged per word of the original (different audio/video rates).
Linguistic proofreading of texts originally written in both languages of materials and documents in the areas of marketing, pharmacovigilance, medicine, finance, legal, business, personal documents, journalism, PR, technical manuals, and websites. This service is charged per word of the original.
Support for questions related to Portuguese and English, with experience in team management and extensive grammatical knowledge of both languages. This service is charged per the hour.
My name is Bruna Martinelli, I'm the translator, proofreader, and entrepreneur responsible for the Chino Traduções brand. After working as a translator and proofreader since 2005, I am especially qualified in translating articles, technical manuals, pharmacovigilance, medicine, legal and marketing documents, and other materials from Portuguese to English and vice versa. With a degree in Journalism and a BA in Education - Portuguese/English, I have been responsible for a full range of support services to language assistance in both languages, including translation, interpretation, multicultural marketing, and website localization/globalization. Some of the key requirements that I have experience with include:
- Knowledge of web publishing and content management systems; - Experience managing outsourced vendors/partners; - Experience working for a location service provider or client-side location department; - Foreign language knowledge (native Brazilian Portuguese); - Knowledge of CAT and TMS tools, such as SDLX, Trados Studio, memoQ, among others.
